'Red Rock Under The Desert Sun' is a large original artwork featuring the beautiful Australian icon, Uluru. In this piece I used a lively colour palette of pinks, red, blue & green with pops of off-white. This work explores this vast fragile but very beautiful landscape. To stand before Uluru is awe inspiring experience, taking in the rock towering above with blue skies, feeling the energy and hearing the ancient stories told by it's indigenous peoples. A statement piece and a compelling acquisition for collectors of modern Australian art.
This piece measures 1.2m x 1m and comes framed in natural oak timber frame. It also has a hang wire already installed for easy DIY installation at home. I use only the highest quality acrylic paint and gorgeous cotton duck canvas. Varnish has been applied to finished piece to seal and preserve it from dust and UV exposure.
Artist signature is on back of painting with year of creation, medium, artist name. Also comes with a certificate of authenticity.
